Delivery of your products
Shipping carrier
We ship our accessories with DPD couriers for all our smaller items in our accessories line. Everything under 30kg ships with DPD.
Kayaks
Please note Christmas Delivery cut off date for orders is December 17th, after this date, we may be unable to deliver your order depending on your location.
Delivery is 35 euros and is 7-10 working days
Dispatch of held kayaks: We require a minimum of 7 working days for dispatch on held kayaks. If you require delivery after this timeframe, it may incur additional costs beyond the above price ranges to ensure your order is with you by your specified date.
Ordering kayaks and accessories together will result in a combined shipping rate of your selected delivery timeframe as well as the DPD charge.
We are able to accommodate some Scotland deliveries for an additional fee - This delivery may take up to 21 working days as it must crossover to Scotland and be handled by multiple couriers.
Pre-order of kayaks
For kayaks, the time period for dispatching varies and will normally involve placing a pre-order with us. Due to the nature of kayak products, it can be approximately 2 - 3 months before stock arrives to us. How long you wait on a pre order will depend on how close to the estimated arrival date you place the order by.
NB When you place a pre-order on a kayak, we will display an estimated delivery date. Please note, with this being an estimated delivery date, we are relying on the current shipping lines we are given. There will be occasions where we may go past our estimated delivery date and naturally this will impact the estimated arrival times. Consequently, we are not held liable for any delays on shipping lines, as this is outside of our reasonable control. You are therefore agreeing to this clause in the event you process your kayak order with us.
All other products
We aim to dispatch all other products including accessories within 3 working days of placing your order if you are within and/or we are delivering within Ireland. Our DPD charge is applied at checkout.
Delays
This only affects Pre Ordered Items. We must advise on the ad hoc occasion, there may be a delay with the product availability, which may be outside of our control. Any dates specified for delivery are based on what we aim to achieve to dispatch and deliver your order.
In the unlikely event the delivery of your order (excluding kayak orders) has to be or has been delayed for more than 1 month outside of our usual timescales above, you can of course contact us via email info@skipjak.ie and can cancel your order. In these unfortunate circumstances, we will of course refund any money paid by you for our products including the cost of delivery. However, we will not be responsible for any other losses, costs, damages or charges that you may suffer in the event we have had to delay the dispatching, delivering and/or supplying of our products. Once delivered, the product becomes your sole responsibility.
